The global blue-collar and agricultural industry relies on over one billion workers across the world. In certain developing nations, agriculture plays a significant role in contributing up to two-thirds of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Particularly in Africa and Asia, the workforce heavily depends on agriculture, with 49% and 30.5% of employment being in this sector, respectively. These workers often face challenges due to the seasonal and unstable nature of their jobs, as well as the remote locations they operate in. These complexities make it challenging to effectively monitor, investigate, and regulate the working conditions in agriculture.

Driven primarily by poverty and limited educational opportunities, more than 98 million children are engaged in agricultural work. The majority of these child labourers are concentrated in remote smallholder farms, making it challenging to accurately identify them using conventional assessment methods.
